OpenLegalPrivacy Policy
This is a skeleton drafted while the product is pre-launch, not a finished legal document. Sections marked [TBD: counsel] need real legal review before OpenGlyph collects any real user data.
The short version
As of this revision, OpenGlyph does not have user accounts, does not use cookies, and does not run any analytics or tracking. Character search happens entirely through the page you’re on — search terms are read from the page URL to show results and aren’t stored anywhere by us.
1. What we collect today
Nothing beyond what our hosting provider logs automatically to keep the site running (standard web server request logs). We don’t operate accounts, newsletters, or forms that collect personal information.
2. What may change
Planned features — privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic, and possibly accounts for saved searches later — would collect more than we do today. This policy will be updated, with a new revision date, before any of that ships.
3. Third-party links
Every character record links out to its primary sources — court records, news coverage, archives. Those are independent sites with their own privacy practices; this policy only covers OpenGlyph itself.
4. Cookies
None are set by OpenGlyph as of this revision.
5. Children’s privacy

6. Changes to this policy
We’ll update the revision date below whenever this policy materially changes — most likely when analytics or accounts are actually built, not before.
